Suffrage Sing-Along
Part of Art Week
Join the Plymouth Antiquarian Society in celebrating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment by learning the songs of the women’s suffrage movement. Suffragists used music to bring people together and promote their campaign to secure the right to vote. PAS Executive Director Dr. Anne Mason will place the songs in their historical context. Free and open to the public. For more information, call 508-746-0012 or visit plymouthantiquarian.org.
This event is part of ArtWeek – a unique annual celebration of arts, culture and creativity. Curious people of all ages will get creative at 500+ unique events across the state–and many are FREE! Join us May 1–10. Get the full festival schedule at artweekma.org.
